Signs A 1/4+ A nearly masterpiece in the genre of mystery and suspense.
Attack of the Clones A Blows The Phantom Menace out of the water.
Spider-Man A- Can be admired for not simply being an action packed ride, but more so having substance behind its popcorn qualities.
Human Nature C A flick with about as many hits as it has misses.
Life or Something Like It B Has its humor and charm but it doesn't supply much more than that.
Murder by Numbers B Had me entertained all the way through.
Changing Lanes A One excellent feature that breaks down an incredible character study.
The Scorpion King D+ The action scenes are corny and cliché.
Van Wilder B Did supply some big laughs.
Frailty B+ A nicely crafted thriller-drama that keeps you guessing...or simply wondering.
Big Trouble B+ Big Trouble works because of the cast's willingness to have fun with their roles.
Resident Evil B+ An accomplished popcorn flick that while doesn't have a fabulous story or script, doesn't insult your intelligence either.
Panic Room A A cliché idea pulled off excellently by a man who knows his line of work.
Death to Smoochy A So dark, yet Robin Williams is so good at it.
Stolen Summer A- Stolen Summer has the feel of a Sunday night ABC Disney special on television, but nevertheless still shines as a well made film.
Blade 2 C+ The film did offer some kick-ass fights, just not enough.
Y Tu Mama Tambien B+ A smart teen flick.
Ice Age B+ Falls into the Monsters, Inc. category of "fun, but could've been better".
Showtime B+ The latest buddy-buddy cop comedy, Showtime is a rehashed version of many from the past, but somehow it still seems to sparkle.
The Time Machine C+ I was entertained at segments and questioned the point of the film at others.
We Were Soldiers B+ While not as intense or front row styled as Black Hawk Down, Soldiers is yet another war movie example demonstrating the courage fighters had and those who gave up their lives for our country. As a whole the movie worked, as the acting was on par, the script was solid despite some corny slip-ups here and there, and Wallace even slapped in some chuckles along the way giving our belly a good laugh. While not epic material, We Were Soldiers is worth your time and money.
40 Days & 40 Nights B+ One of the most enjoyable romantic comedies I've seen and part of that could have been due to the lack of comedies in the last various months. Hartnett proves that he can do more than fight war, as his ability at romance and the physical side of humor is well executed in the film. 40 Days... is one of those fun Saturday afternoon movies.
